Fire Sign Merch is based in the United States. The majority of our production happens in Long Beach, CA. We also work closely with a tight-knit circle of global partners whom we tap for help when our clients need services in territories beyond North America.
What should I order from Fire Sign Merch?
Fire Sign Merch offers custom and decorated apparel (T-shirts, hoodies, etc.), home décor (posters, wall flags, etc.), accessories (hats, jewelry, etc.), novelties (patches, stickers, etc.), and anything else you can think of. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, wire transfers, and PayPal.
Do you charge sales tax?
We collect all applicable taxes for goods and services.
What if I’m unhappy with my custom order?
Our process includes multiple opportunities for clients to review and approve pricing and artwork before production begins. This allows us to ensure your order is produced to your exact specifications. Therefore, all sales are final and items cannot be returned or refunded. If for some reason you’re unsatisfied with your order please contact hello@firesignmerch.com within 30 days of receipt. We will resolve the issue to the best of our ability.
Can I cancel or change my order?
You can cancel at any time before your order enters production. Your order is qualified as “in production” once you have approved your final proofs and paid your invoice.
Can I get a discount on high-volume orders?
We address high-volume orders on a case-by-case basis. Please contact hello@firesignmerch.com with your order details including product number, quantity, and your design of choice.

Order Process
How can I place an order at Fire Sign Merch?
Begin by browsing our website and selecting products that you believe will resonate with your audience. When you’re comfortable with your choices contact us with product numbers, high-resolution artwork, and a rough quantity of products you will need. We will respond with pricing. Once you approve the pricing, we will issue a proof. You will have the opportunity to issue feedback or edits before paying your invoice. Once payment is received, we enter production. Your order will ship 14 days from receipt of payment.
How do I get a quote?

How long will it take to receive a quote?
You can expect to receive a quote for your selected products within 24 hours.
Will I see a proof before my order goes into production?
Yes! We will never go into production until you have approved the production mockup.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Production time varies depending on job type and quantity, however, as a general rule, we ship completed orders 14 business days from receipt of payment and final approval of your proofs. Express options are available on a case-by-case basis and may require a rush fee.
Do you provide printed garment samples?
We can provide decorated garment samples for a fee.
Do you provide unprinted garment samples?
No. To check the quality of a blank brand’s garments we encourage our clients to visit your local apparel retailer and check the tactile feel of a garment in person before placing their order.
What is your minimum order quantity?
We do not enforce minimums on decorated apparel. Please keep in mind lower quantity orders translate to a higher per-unit cost.
Certain hard goods orders require minimums, but thresholds vary. If you want to know the minimum order quantity of a specific product please contact hello@firesignmerch.com.
Art / Creative
What format should my art files be in?
The best files for us to work with are print-ready vector files (Illustrator, EPS or PDF). We recognize that not all of our clients will have these files ready, so we accept all file types. A small fee may apply if your art needs to be converted, vectorized, or reproduced.
What size should my artwork be?
Vector Files are infinitely scalable without loss of detail. If providing any other format please supply your file at the maximum resolution possible. In all cases, Fire Sign Merch will re-size your art to the correct print size during production.
Do you offer graphic design?
Fire Sign Merch provides full-service graphic design services at a rate of $50 per hour.
What is a PMS color?
PMS is an acronym for Pantone Matching System, a system created by Pantone LLC for specifying ink colors for commercial printers. PMS colors are custom-mixed ink colors that customers can request when they need an exact color for their design.
Can I specify a PMS color for my print?
Yes! When requesting your quote please include your PMS color codes. Keep in mind there are certain products where, due to the limitations of the printing process, exact PMS matching isn’t possible.
Do you keep my artwork on file after my order is fulfilled?
Yes, Fire Sign Merch keeps your artwork on file to make reordering easy.
Garments
What garment brands does Fire Sign Merch print on?
Fire Sign Merch maintains relationships with all major blank garment providers from Fruit Of The Loom and Gildan, to LA Apparel and Bella + Canvas. Certain suppliers enforce minimums. If you have a question about a particular brand please contact hello@firesignmerch.com.
Can I mix sizes and garment styles in my order?
We are happy to print whatever garments and sizes you require. Each job is calculated based on printing the same artwork over the complete order using the same ink colors and artwork size. If any of these factors change, price breaks will reset and a new set-up fee may be incurred.
What are the care instructions for my decorated garments?
Each process and garment will have different care instructions. As a general rule, we recommend cool-wash inside-out and line-dry for a long-lasting print. Printed garments that are hot-washed and tumble-dried will crack and peel over time.
Do you offer fair trade or sustainable garment options?
This will depend on the garment brand you choose. We have partnerships with several sustainable and fair-trade garment suppliers. Please keep in mind that some sustainable or fair trade garment suppliers have longer fulfillment lead times than other conventional garment suppliers.
Can I supply my own garments or do I need to order from Fire Sign Merch?
For some decoration processes like (Digital Printing or Sublimation), we may not be able to use customer-supplied garments. If we can print on the garments you wish to provide we are more than happy to accept them.

What is embroidery?
Embroidery is a process where a sewing machine creates patterns on textiles using thread. Embroidered finishes are durable and premium.
What is screen printing?
Screen printing is a process where a stenciled design is transferred onto a flat surface using a mesh screen, ink, and a squeegee. Screen printing is the most cost-effective decoration method for larger custom apparel orders.
What is heat transfer?
Heat transfer printing uses the process of heat to transfer an image created in wax to an object or garment.
What is DTG?
DTG, also known as direct-to-garment, is a printing method that applies ink directly onto a product. The ink is placed on a thin film, powdered glue is added, and the design is applied to a garment via a special heated printing machine.

How do you ship?
Fire Sign Merch ships via all major carriers to ensure the lowest shipping rates possible. Our carrier partners include but are not limited to: USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.

Express delivery options through major carriers are available for a fee determined by the carrier.
Do you offer third-party logistics?
Yes, our e-commerce clients enjoy the same wholesale shipping rates that we do. In addition to producing your products, we can warehouse and fulfill your merchandise inventory directly to your fans.
