Daily Industry reported this week that in the last 10 months of the current fiscal year, Bangladesh’s ready-made garments industry grossed $40 billion globally. Relative to the previous fiscal year, an increase of 4.97 percent in the export of clothing was observed, according to Bangladesh’s Export Promotion Bureau. The WTO finds that the country retains its position as number two in global apparel exporters, behind only China.
